ROAR is run by survivors for survivors. We are not a counselling services but we are here to support, listen and signpost you to other services.
We offer you a chance to meet for a chat, to socialise and to end the isolation that comes from being a survivor of rape and/or abuse. A friendly face to unload to, to share with, someone who understands.
ROAR is a welcoming, diverse group.
We DO NOT accept any Racist, Homophobic, Transphobic or Aggressive, Negative behaviour towards any sections of society.
You will immediately be asked to leave the group and/or be reported to the Police.
You can be assured that our service is confidential and safe.
However, it is important that you understand if you disclose that you are being harmed or that someone else is being harmed by yourself or someone else then we will always report this to the Police or help you to do so.
